Course Description

Prerequisite

This course assumes familiarity with computers and experience using Windows and the Internet. There are 4 different course offerings for SharePoint to accommodate roles like an end user (1-hour), a power user (half-day), the content manager (one full-day) and an administrator (two full-days). Refer to the Course Highlights for the training topics breakdown.

Software Version

Desktop/On-Premise and Online/Microsoft (Office) 365

Course Highlights

Aside from gaining a better understanding of SharePoint with its overall structure and navigation choices, the main focus of the End User session is on Document Libraries to get comfortable with opening files and possibly making simple edits, checking out and checking in files, and viewing the behind-the-scenes version history of files. The distinction about using Libraries and Lists is covered as well.
